Boston, MA, May 10-11
This educational forum and expo is held every year at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, gathering industry professionals to discuss problems surrounding the design, development, manufacturing, and delivery of commercial robotics and intelligent systems.
Attendees can hear insights from keynote speakers of well-known robotics companies including the AI Institute, Motional, Johnson and Johnson, and more. Robotics companies will also be exhibiting to showcase their product and meet with the community.
Salinas, CA, September 19-21
As one of the most industry-specific conferences, FIRA brings together the agriculture robotics sector in a 3-day event held in Fresno, California. The exact dates have not yet been announced, but it will take place during the month of October.
Over the course of the conference, attendees will watch live outdoor demos of autonomous farm robots and have time to network with other professionals, farmers, researchers, and more.
London, England, May 29-June 2
Hosted by the IEEE Robotics & Automation Society, ICRA (International Conference on Robotics and Automation) will take place in London for the first time ever. The conference will offer a mix of professional and academic attendees with academic competitions pitting robot against robot to top robotics companies showcasing their tech.
Educational sessions from industry experts covering a multitude of robotics topics are also offered.
New Orleans, LA, October 18-20

Attendees will be kept busy between visiting with exhibiting robotics companies and technical talks covering news ROS-related tips, tools, and software. Combine the close-knit community with the energy of New Orleans and this year’s conference will surely be a good time.
Santa Clara, CA, October 18-19
Hosted by WTWH Media, Robobusiness brings the global robotics community into one space to network, share best practices, and reveal new opportunities for emerging robotics companies.
Much like other robotics conferences listed, Robobusiness offers the opportunity for attending companies to exhibit while also offering educational sessions from industry leaders.
If you work with an early-stage robotics company or startup, this conference is helpful to those seeking fundraising and partnership opportunities due to the Pitchfire competition hosted within the conference yearly. Multiple early-stage robotics companies pitch their product live for the chance to win $5,000 and offers excellent exposure to industry investors and advisors.
Detroit, MI, May 22-25
As a historic hub for automation and technological advancement, Detroit is a fitting location to host one of the largest automation shows in North America. Hosted by A3, Automate spans over a period of 4 days and covers all sectors of automation with a larger focus on manufacturing robotics but also features smaller robotics startups, robotics software companies, and academic entities.
Similar to Robobusiness, Automate also offers a startup pitch competition for young robotics companies, offering a live pitch session, with the winner of the $10,000 cash prize named by a panel of seasoned industry experts.
This event is open to the public, therefore it’s important to keep in mind that this is not entirely a professional audience.
Boston, MA, September 29-30
Exhibiting and attending educational talks is always valuable- but not every conference has to be the same routine. RoboBoston, held by MassRobotics, brings robotics companies together for a block party!
In 2022, RoboBoston saw 40+ robotics companies and over 5200 attendees. Companies will have the chance to demonstrate their robots in a casual environment and meet with prospective job seekers if interested, as the event offers a successful career fair on Sept. 30.
RoboBoston is open to the public, therefore exhibitors can expect to meet a mixed audience of professionals, academics, and families.
Chicago, IL, March 20-23
Robotics are increasingly playing a large part in the supply chain industry, and ProMat is the best conference to attend if you provide a supply-chain automation solution.
If you’re wondering why we haven’t mentioned MODEX yet, ProMat and MODEX alternate every year to lend companies the flexibility to have their teams attend both shows, rather than need to choose one each year.
Attendees of Promat can expect over 1,000 manufacturing and supply chain solutions, as well as hands-on demonstrations and keynote speakers to stay on top of the latest supply-chain trends.
