6 Standout Robots At Automate 2022

Held in Detroit, Michigan, the Automate 2022 conference didn’t fail to impress as hundreds of North American robotics companies showed off their automation solutions. The Formant team attended to exhibit with the Pittsburgh Robotics Network, but the team made sure to share some of this year’s robots that were shown.

1. FANUC M-2000iA

FANUC drew a large crowd each day by showing off the M-2000iA’s car-lifting capabilities. With the ability to lift 2.3 tons, this robot is ideal for moving heavy, completed cars.

2. Locus Robotics AMRs

Made for warehouses, Locus’s AMRs rolled around the conference, showing off their ability to work with humans and increase productivity in busy spaces, and avoid colliding with any of the thousands of attendees.

3. Zebra & Fetch

Keeping with the theme of AMRs for warehouse use, Zebra and Fetch Robotics showed off the safety of their mobile robot when navigating around humans in an industrial setting.

4. Bear Robotics Servi

Bear Robotics teamed up with Doosan Robotics to show off Servi, a mobile robot helping to relieve hospitality staff of tasks by running food, bussing tables, and serving drinks in restaurants all over the world.

5. OTTO

A division of Clearpath Robotics, OTTO showcased their AMRs that can help factories take on labor shortages and almost any task on the warehouse floor.

6. Kawasaki

Kawasaki Robotics combined their industrial robots with Realtime Robotics RapidPlan software to demonstrate how together, they can make it easier than ever to automate complex multi-robot applications.

Thanks to everyone for bringing their amazing robots to Automate 2022; we wish we could feature all of them. Our Formant team had a great time exhibiting at the conference, as well. If you weren't able to attend or stop by our booth for a demo, you can request one here.
